Infinite Money RPG game

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello guys! I barely ever post here, because if I need help I can usually find a video so forgive me if I'm doing something wrong. I can't seem to find a video on this topic and need some help.

I'm making an RPG game and the Overworld and Battles are two separate frames. The battles are random and take you to the battle frame when the battle starts. In the overworld you can collect money and the money gets deystroyed when you collect it. After you finish a battle or come back from another frame, The money is back. You get to collect the money multiple times.

Does anyone know an easy way to make the money stay gone until at least the game is turned off and back on? I'm sure the solution is easy, but I've never made a full RPG and don't know everything. Thanks for reading, and please try to come up with an answer, it would really help!

    Thanks again!

  • With separate frames, your options are limited. You're going to need to essentially save the state of each money object, and loop through it upon loading back into the overworld. You could do this with an array somewhat easily, or an INI in somewhat of a pain in the butt way.
