How do I make object randomly spawn on either left or right side of screen?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

    Hey guys so atm I'm making a game where you shoot random objects that appear.

    However I'm having trouble making the objects spawn from outside the left and right side of the screen.

    I can make them spawn from any random area of the screen.. but I'd like to make it so they only appear from the left and right and travel in only those directions, opposed to appearing right in the middle of the screen as if they've magically appeared out of nowhere, and moving diagonally, if that makes sense.

    Any help is much appreciated, thanks guys!
