i'm working on a project for a game design class in my school and I've run into a problem. I've made an enemy that's supposed to be hit by bullets and my ship and bounce off the gui screen but it seems to be ignoring all of the events. The other ships I've made are working fine.
I'm heading to sleep after I make this post, I've stood up too late trying to fix the problem, will check next morning.
Active object ignoring events for it
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I'm so sorry no one has responded to your problem yet.
I will check out your MFA this evening and let you know what I find.
Best regards,

I'm having trouble understanding where and what exactly is the problem. Could you be more specific with object names and, if possible, a demo video of your application not working?

The object in question is called Enmy-LaserDisc.
What it's supposed to do is:
-Bounce off all sides and the GUI
-deal damage and bounce off of the player ship
-get hit by projectiles and eventually get destroyed
If you toggle 'create the object at start' on, it follows all these rules untill destruction. but any subsequent spawns creates a disc that ignores all guidelines other than bouncing off of the frame walls.Gif of the disc functioning correctly

Lot of faulty discs (see how they still bounce off of eachother): Please login to see this link.Upon further testing it happens with the rest of the enemy ships as well, and fairly consistently: The first spawn of any enemy works as intended, but further spawning causes them to ignore events.
Thank you so much for the help, don't feel bad if you can't resolve my problem

I see that when you're creating the object, it's being created on layer 1. The reason it works when you create it at start is because you placed it in the second layer, but because they're being created on the first, they can't interact with any of the other objects. I switched Enmy-LaserDisc to be created on layer 2 and that fixed it's problem.
Hope this helped! Let me know if you need anything else. Please login to see this attachment.
I want to add--to change the color of the background, you can go into the frame properties and pick a color so that you can avoid extra unnecessary layers

Thank you so much, I can't believe is missed that!
