Fully Functioning Online Multiplayer Shooter Example.

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi all. A little bit of backstory on this one. Ever since i began working with fusion ive always wanted to make multiplayer games. I tried and failed(a lot) with the mooclick extension, and when i finally figured it out it was too laggy to work with. When i discovered lacewing i was pretty excited, however, none of the tutorials for the plugin were up to date. It took me a while, but i figured out how to get lacewing working. Ive decided to share my working example so other people who want to implement online multiplayer in their games but might not know where to start, can have a guide. I might make a tutorial for people who are new to fusion and might find it easier to follow along a text/video tutorial then try to absorb information through an example file. Anyway, heres the game:

Make sure you have - "Lacewing Relay Server" and "Lacewing Relay Client" - installed to open the .mfa

I made it for my history project, so the weapons are all from WW1. Its a top down multiplayer shooter. There are 14 Weapons, 4 Equipment types, 2 teams, and 3 maps. It has a working lobby and supports up to 8 players. Feel free to mess around with the project however you like :).

Video footage of the game being played( Unfortunately sound didnt record :( )
