web radio streaming with MMF 2.5 help me please!!!

Hello everyone, I have a problem that after so many months is still present. I asked for help in this forum many times, but I never got an answer, maybe because it's something that you can not be realized
I want to create a streaming radio with MMF is I only found a solution. active x windows media player, but there is no volume control. I can only adjust the volume with the mouse.

I tried using direct show because there is a parameter volume, but I can not play the radio station.

This is a link that works with the component activex windows media player but it is possible to control the volume?

I also downloaded the active component x vlc but the radio station does not play.

Might not be of help but could see if vlc has an active x for this. Of course they will need vlc installed.

exact, there is an active x component of VLC, but this component does not work. I installed VLC player and active x component.

There are two version1: v1 that has controls for volume, etc., and the v2 version that URL to play the streaming radio.

Unfortunately that component does not work and the 'only one that works is the windows media player, but it does not have the volume parameters.
You can help me understand how to control the volume of the active x windows media player component?

I can take a look at creating a shoutcast client extension if I get time. No promises though.

I've made an extension that will stream shoutcast. It does use the BASS library though so keep that in mind if you were to use it in a commercial product.

I've attached the extension and example mfa.

OMG!!!! I tried it now because I could not get into the forum.
you have done a wonderful thing ... I tried it and it works really well.
This is an extension that I feel is important for mmf2.

danworth, can you explain how this is used? Where does the bass.dll get installed to,..what folder? I loaded the mfa, but nothing happens when I run it. I'm getting this error. Please see picture. Thank you for the extension.~~~!!!

John. Have you tried the main directory for CTF2.5 itself? That is where dll files go.

As with any extension you unpack the zip to the cf2.5 directory. It contains the bass.dll in the root (so that the extension works in mmf) also in the data\runtime folder so that the mfa can run. The DLL will also be be included with the exe when built so no need to distribute the DLL with your application as it'll get packed into the exe.

The DLL is required along with the extension. The zip file will unpack the files in the right location so you just need to unpack to the cf2.5 directory and the extension should work fine.

I just unzipped and dropped it in the 2.5 directory, working on Windows 10. I'm interested what other sharing links will work, the listed ones work well, does anyone know of others?

Any shoutcast (Please login to see this link.) or Icecast streaming should work. I could probably get it working with RTSP but many of the stream sources use Shoutcast. (shameless plug; one i'm involved in is Please login to see this link. which streams video game music).

Weird, I unpacked it in the cf2.5 directory and still not working on my end. I must be doing something wrong? I'll try it again. I will download it again also.

What OS are you running? I believe BASS uses wasapi which requires a minimum of vista to work.

Try to unzip it to the desktop first, I noticed that when you tried to unzip it directly it said access denied. Give this a go.
