Counting how many actual events are in a frame and not include comments?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I was just kind of curious and not sure if this has been answered, but is there a way Fusion can actually give you a report of how many lines of actual events you have in a project and not include comments? Right now my event editor is over 1000 lines but a lot of it is actually just comments, but there's not a comment for every single event. I really hate the idea of manually going through and counting, which would seem stupid for anyone to do that. I know I'll never hit the 20,000 limit but I think it's just nice to know how much I've actually done. Thanks!

  • Hi

You could try to enable all the event filters

    1. "Display only events related to the system object"
    2. "Display only events related to the active objects"
    3. "Display only events related to the multimedia objects"
    4. "Display only events related to the text objects"
    5. "Display only events related to the game objects"
    6. "Display only events related to the Windows controls"
    7. "Display only events related to extension objects"

I don't know if this will hide some of the events, but it does hide comments, so if it shows all the events besides comments, you should see how many events you have.

I haven't tested this with a big projects with a ton of events, so I don't know if some events might get hidden or not.

EDIT: Seems like enabled several of them hides the ones that are supposed to be enabled by the other filters. Not sure if this is intended or a bug, but if it is intended, then I don't know why you could enable several of the filters.
