Possible to Use Fusion 2.5 to control USB-Modem ?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello Basseman. It depends on your hardware. I saw several GSM modem that used serial (RS232) communication. If this is the case, CDC fits your needs (You should use Serial Object).

  • Hmm, I never had this problem. CDC needs a driver to work. Did you install the correct driver? Could you see the device in Device Manager?

  • Hello Basseman,

Serial Object needs that you put the correct COM port. You should see the port in Device Manager. After that, look if you can open the COM port (the COM port MUST be closed when you open it in MFA). If you can open the port, just set the correct baud rate.
I never had problems with this extension. It's is simply and robust.
