HTML5 use external media folder

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I was wondering if it's possible put the resource folder (images, sounds etc) and access it through an external url different from where your main html file is.

  • I've already tried to edit the main html file calling a url on the resources folder.
Nobody knows? I assume it isn't possible then.

Is there a reason you are attempting this? It might help others find a solution if they knew what you are doing this for.

One of the reasons is to bypass size limitations on some game portals. Newgrounds for instance, downloading resources from outside would make me not to worry about game size anymore.
