I was cleaning up my office and found this old EA receipt for KNP that I purchased back in 1998! Thought I'd post it here... ah, the memories!

KNP - when it all began...
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Ah, brings back memories. I started with The Games Factory but purchased Klik & Play for the games and libraries.
-
$1.99?! What a steal.
-
Yeah, I thought so too.
-
I actually started with KNP first and migrated over to The Games Factory. Then I purchased MMF and then upgraded to MMF2. Still holding out for a discounted MMF2.5 or I'll wait until MMF3 is available. I can't seem to justify paying over $40+ dollars for something I will rarely use. (But if I can make quick apps for smartphones, I'm interested.)

Well right now you can get almost every Clickteam product for $15 :). Please login to see this link.

I think I paid $49 for my copy of K&P in 1997. I had heard of Click & Create but couldn't afford it and didn't hear about The Games Factory until after I had already bought the IMSI Multimedia Fusion. That sales rep on the phone outright lied to me about some of what it could do, but it didn't matter, my PC could barely run it anyway. I was on a Pentium I back then so I eventually fell back to TGF.

I had Klik and Play DEVELOPER! I had bought the regular version and just a week later was able to sell a gig for creating learning games for NationsBank (now Bank of America).
-
Hi this is my Click family!!! I lost Jamagic box...
-
I remember reading about Klik and play in some game magazine and asked my parents to buy it for my birthday but it was nowhere to be seen in any stores here in the Netherlands, after 5 years or something I found it a a sale bin of a videostore for only 5 dollar something. ...it was at this moment where my life finally began.
-
I remember buying it from Electronics Boutique back in the day. It was definitely more than $1.99 but I did a lot of neat little things with that program.
-
I remember reading about CnP but my first real purchase was TGF which I am almost 100% sure it came on the back of a book called Make Amazing Games in Minutes by Jason Darby. Well I might've lost the first book, but bought another some years later and because I had moved to digital, I now have the latest 2.5+ and the book with the TGF CD which I never opened! I always thought The Games Factory is still the best name for the product! makes the most sense to me

What a good memory. I remember that there was a big agent in Beijing, China, more than ten years ago. I prefer the animation deformation function of MMF 1.5. Fig. 1: I really hope that FU25 can add this function. I still use the animation deformation function of MMF 1.5. It's really too simple to make a deformation BOSS. Why delete the good function in the new version? Please login to see this attachment.
-
IIRC the morphing function was not very well programmed and was causing memory corruption and crashes. That's the main reason why we removed it I think, we had to remove non essential functions that couldn't be easily maintained.

If you're looking for a morphing between images, Animation Shop v3 has this feature and I *think* it is freeware now
