Fusion 2.5 Humble Bundle

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Has anyone used their standalone developer registration key on the mac version and had success?

Can you use 1 developer registration key on 2 copies of fusion?
So then I can use the developer key I bought and used (On the windows version) months ago on the mac version and not have to pay $10 for the conversion.
    And yes,I know I'm cheap.;D

  • I tried using my standalone developer key on the Mac editor, but it didn't work.

I'd be very interested in any way of upgrading the Mac editor to developer, even if it means converting the Steam developer key to a standalone.

Would that work? Or does the Mac editor require a special 'Mac' standalone key?

  • The Mac version in the bundle is the standard version.

The Mac Developer version will be released very soon in our store, as well as the standard version and the Mac exporter for the Windows editor.

The serial numbers for Mac and Windows are different so you'll have to get one in our store (I don't know the various upgrade prices).

  • Thank you for clarifying Yves. It's great news that the Mac version is soon to be officially out. I've been using the Mac editor from the Humble Bundle and I really like it. I don't use Windows for developing and I bought the standard Fusion Developer which I run in Crossover on the Mac.

Now I prefer using your wineskin Mac Editor as it is much faster to load up than my Crossover installation, the fonts look better and it and seems to run more smoothly. I can't get the Android exporter Build and Run function working with Crossover either, whereas with the Mac Editor it works easily and flawlessly.

Will there be some kind of crossover deal for Mac users who have already purchased the standard developer version?

  • This was asked earlier but I didn't see an answer. Can I just "copy" my extension folder from the EXE version to the Steam version? I want to port all of my extensions, but I'm not sure if this will cause any problems. Some of the extensions I use are also not in the Extension Manager database.

Thank you all for this awesome deal.

  • I purchased the Humble Bundle, the highest tier with all exporters.
Through the clickteam store, I purchased one conversion to start with. Its PDF instruction file tells me to 'Collect your serial number for the product you are converting'
But where can I find that serial? If I select Help - About, there's nothing there?
Also, of course I want to use the Developer version - as that's what I have on Steam. Hopefully this requires just one conversion?

  • The serial codes are the Humble Bundle codes, use those.
One conversion will convert any version of fusion and one exporter. If you want to convert all the exporters you got, you'll have to buy the converter a total of 4 times.

  • One conversion will convert any version of fusion and one exporter.

Do you mean that for one time purchase I can convert my Steam Fusion key + One exporter?
Wish they can be more clear in their Clickstore page...

You can do it, but you also have to copy the data/runtime folder (do not forget the Unicode sub-folders in both directories). And I strongly suggest that you first make sure the build number of your Steam version is the same as the one of your stand-alone version, as these folders contain Fusion runtime files.

  • XD awesome

That's another interesting hint that showing user-created content can be one of best selling point for CT.

Btw, those last 4-5 screenshots you posted in the Daz forums are quite cinematic and eye-catching
(I particularly like the fourth and third from bottom),
I think I didn't see them in the WIP section thread.
    Great work!

  • I've been using the steam version for 2 weeks now. I've noticed zero difference and no bugs. You can start it offline too. You'll be fine.

Try closing CF, then clicking a MFA to open it with it. Very annoying Steam window about launching with different parameters will pop up. The funny thing is, that other software I have (RPG Maker VX Ace) doesn't have that issue at all and opens up nicely when clicking project file in explorer. That alone would get me to convert when I will have enough money to do so.

There are no impossible things, there is only lack of skill needed to complete the task.

  • Same here. I always wanted the Steam conversion feature because of that error. It forces you to drag the mfa into the application window every time or to select it manually X).

    Currently working on ... [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] ... a Puzzle Platformer

  • So now I have the Steam version of Clickteam Fusion Developers version and I have to ask... can I use the Standalone Standard version I have to develop my game, then add things to it using the Developers version I have with Steam, or will they not work with each other?

  • You can, but once u add developer features you cant open it in the standard version after.

  • Great deal! Now I'm trying to get the games from the bundle running but finding some extensions on the internet is harder than I thought.

I can't install the "parser.mfx" because the installer this extension (and various others) comes in doesn't recognise MMF 2.5. On the dark-wire website they say "create a dummy 'mmf2.exe' file in Fusion install folder" but that doesn't seem to work with the Steam version. Does someone have a workaround?

Edit: Nevermind, I've found it in the extension manager. I swear it wasn't there before, I had searched for 'string' and 'parser' as well. Strange, but good. : D
