How to use HTML5 Geolocation to detect user location without GPS

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    I want to make android app with location awareness
    i want to use HTML5 geolocation API to detect user location every 5 min
    How i can Do that in fusion 2.5 dev ?

    Why not just use the android gps? you can get it with the "android google maps" object at least.
    Might be possible to run html code with the web view object, haven't used it much but looks like running javascript functions etc are supported, i'd recommend NOT doing anything that way unless it's absolutely the only way to get it working tho.

    The app will send the user location every 5 min and If i use GPS So this feature will be depending on GPS On or off
    in the web view object there al vary limited usage of HTML5 features and can not use GeoLocation API until now
