Windows and Android = Different Control Results ?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hey All,

As I'm experimenting for the first time with the Android Exporter.
I've started with something simple: a Platform Player using the "Platform Movement Object" for extra options.

What I've done that may cause the problem I'm about to explain may be the fact that I didn't use the Player's Animation (Idle, walk, jump) but I'm controlling a simple Cube for the collision to be perfect for my needs.

I've added an Always = Set the position of my Animated Active Object (with all the animations) on the Cube so I'm actually controlling the cube but the animations of the Player following it all the time.

It works perfectly fine when I test it on Windows 10, but when I'm testing it on Android (both: Real Device and BlueStacks emulator) there is a weird problem:

Walking to the Right show the Right walk animations, but walking to the Left still showing the RIGHT walking animations, means the active player with the animations don't turning to the left.

Again, in Windows it works perfectly fine, so I'm wondering: is it something I'm doing wrong maybe you can help me out to solve it?
or is it just a fact that I will get many issues from PC to Android as I'm trying to make an Android game?

    * Sorry about my bad English

Since I'm a Noob, Here is a screenshot of the events, maybe you can see the problem:
    Thanks ahead!

  • Sure, it's super basic but still I'm confused.
Here you go, The latest version I've played with so far.

File Attached: Please login to see this attachment.

Please let me know why is this happened, I'm thirsty to learn from my stupid mistakes. :)

  • Sorry for the ignorance, is there a bug report section on the forums or an email?
I have no experience with bug reporting.

Also, I will wait for you to check it out maybe I just did something wrong since I'm a Noob. :)

  • Thanks Jeff and Frenando, I just reported the Bug.

I still believe that it's me and not a Bug because I'm messing with Android exporter for the very first time, and also... I'm still a Noob when it comes to Fusion 2.5 in general. :)

Please update this thread if you find anything, Thanks ahead!

  • Hey Guys just an update,

I've tried to "think different" and see if I can somehow MAKE the Animated Active (player 1) to listen to the direction of the Placeholder (P1 Red Cube).

After testing it on both: Real Android Device and BlueStacks emulator, I approve that it works perfect now.

I'm not sure if that's the best way or if it can be done without these extra events but as long as it works, I'm happy!
Sorry for the mess, I'm still experimenting with the Android Exporter.
