Looking for isometric art assets

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • Hey there.

I've recently begun developing a game for androids which uses a 3d isometric viewpoint and have run into a little bit a of a tumble.

I have no experience animating or making 3d models and have a feeling I may have to at this rate to acquire some monsters and soldiers/survivors for my game.

I've looked already at opengameart.org but was hoping someone else might know where to look for free isometic tile sheeets of some sort?

The alternative is just a lot longer.

Here is a video showing what I'm looking for (as I already am using the 3d zombie tilesheet from opengameart.org)

  • These are good! and very useful! what I'm after now though really is more spritesheet based characters - like the zombies in the video above. but... more people etc. I have found some knights and skeleton warriors - which are great but don't really gel well with what I'm after. At this point I'd be happy with some 3d models I'll pose myself

  • Try these sites - you can get Daz Studio for free an you can pose the character inside of Daz and render a .png sequence. You may not use their 3D models in your game - but you are allowed to use the renders and since that seems to be all you need - you might find what you're looking for. They have huge "free" sections - just make sure the items you choose allow "commercial" use - because a lot of the freebies are personal use only. Also some of the vendors do sell extended licenses to use their 3d asset in your game. Also you might find people willing to make you a render or two ...
