Firefly World Editor - Bug Reports

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Both of those issues are from Firefly and not the world editor so these are in the wrong forum post however....

    the mouse issue is caused due to Global Value C not have a speed value set - at the start of frame set Global Value C to 100 or some such for the mouse to work. As for the grass issue this is due to this demo being quickly Converted from a "very old set of examples" before things changed slightly and will be updated in the next patch.", sorry for any inconvenience this error may have caused.

  • When will you be able to import your world from the world editor, it just says coming soon. For convenience wise, and to save time rather than trial and error to guess the right position and angle in the properties.

  • Sorry guys... where can I download the world editor? I suppose it is another thing from the firefly extensions that I bought

  • Are there any updates planned? Until now it is not really usable to my opinion. Its a good proof of concept but doesn't have proper UI and functionalities. Would it ultimately be possible to have a world viewer inside the firefly engine object so you can just position your objects within the level editor or is that a too far stretched goal?

  • I would make it opensource. However, .mfa corrupted somehow, most of the time when a change is made the app can't ever be executed (freezes at the beginning, sometimes wakes up 5 minutes later).

    Perhaps with the remake there'll be a possibility of doing that.
