Very cool. Even with an older engine you can produce interesting results, the trick is to find a style that plays to the strengths of the engine you are using.
Something new to play with over Christmas.
Firefly - 3d in Fusion, Just released!
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Definitely a really polished extension - and I really do think the cost is reasonable. However, I don't think I'm going to bite on this one until Android or iOS is supported.

turn far clipping plane to 99999999999999 on the camera object. DRAW DISTANCE FOR MILES! lol yes incase you're wondering that's whats causing your pop in.

Wow! Respect for the whole team who was involved with this. I will buy it when I get back home! Not sure I will be working with t right away but I think everybody who is using clickteam stuff should invest in these things. Just to keep these guys going and it is really cheap for something people really waited for.
I think clickteam is doing so many cool things lately. I hope it will be a great success!
Keep it up!

The world editor seems a bit hard to populate (I know, still at early stages) I was just wandering would it be possible to import scenes from this: Please login to see this link. ?
Also, for what its worth fantastic job with this extension ... keep up the good work -
I am definitely waiting for mobile support. I read somewhere that fbx is supportet, is there any 3D scene editor where I can drag and drop assets? Also, is it possible to blend animation (transition between two movements)?
-
how can i teste this befor paying, we need more information about version of direct x (d3d 9 i suppose)... shader, 3d animation...

Let me take my Clickteam hoodie off for a second here. Some comments I have seen this morning not just on the forums are pretty harsh. Chris has put a LOT of effort and time into getting this developed, as I said in my Fused post, blood, sweat and tears have been poured into it. It's an $80 product for a one off payment and it actually does allow you to create 3D games and applications.
There's nothing of "commercial quality" in the demos because Chris wanted to showcase the different types of games you can create.
Look at it this way. MMF and Fusion 2.5 were released with Chocobreak example and Romeo, yet Knytt was made by Nifflas and FNAF by AnimDude, not to mention Eagle4's work... You get out what you put in and this engine will allow you to create anything you desire.
I have worked with 3D quite a bit including the Q3 engine so I'll be getting hands on with this in the next few days and I'll be posting some progress results.
With my Clickteam hoodie back on, I'll try and sort some tutorial videos out very soon to give a helping hand to those who may need it.

I just bought it! thank you for this very important release!
You guys are the best! -

It should be possible although firefly was based off a earlier Irrlicht build and hasnt yet been fully brought upto speed with the latest Irrlicht build, so results may not be 100% compatible YET, but soon will be.

So, no demo release to test inside mmf? can we have some screenshot? or a video to see how it work?

Definitely an interesting product and it's easy to see the demand and market for it. People who compare it to Unity or UE etc. are typical whiners who are never satisfied to anything. If unity works for them, they should stick with it. But obviously they aren't satisfied with Unity, so they are yelling here. People who are familiar with Fusion will definitely be happy to be able to make 3D games with it. But probably it wont attract new users from other 3D game engines thou. This is a great new addition to Fusion and wish the best success for it.
I have to agree with blurymind that it would be very clever idea to make "Fusion framework" for existing engines like super powers or unity. Look how well PlayMaker is doing. There isn't anything similar like fusion editor for the "big game engines". All visual editors are more like Unreal engines blueprint. My brain works the way Fusion/Construct handles the programming and I believe that there are a lot of people alike.
So Unity/Unreal etc. are not competitors to Fusion as long as they don't provide editor with same logic that Fusion has. I hope this is an indicator that 3D could be integrated part of Fusion3(D), and that would be a killer sales argument.
