MMF2/CF2.5 Extension list update

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Heyo folks,
Just dropping a note I've updated my Please login to see this link.. It now has 579 extensions, of which 550 have valid downloads.

There's also an ExtensionView patch which makes the program use my website's database, instead of the broken Jaffob's one. That's linked in the page, along with a tip on how to get ExtensionView to recognise CF2.5 as a Fusion install.

    Changelog:

    • Added 51 missing exts that were on CEM
    • Painstakingly updated all extensions' exporter compatibility lists (Android, iOS, XNA, Flash, Unicode, Java, HTML5)
    • Painstakingly updated all extensions' Fusion compatibility lists (2.5, Dev)
    • Painstakingly added icons for all those extensions
    • - used CSS image spriting so it doesn't take ages to load 550 images
    • - tested they were pixel-perfectly aligned on spritesheet
    • Added icon column hiding ability
    • Disabled sorting for version number/icon
    • Fixed noscript bug where cached HTML table was set to invisible.
    • Fixed Update Date search which was read as text instead of a date.
    • Tracked down most of Pharanygitis' extensions' download links.
    • Redirected all dead Aquadasoft links to mirror.
    • Informed conceptgame about dead download link - link was fixed.
    • Informed two other users about dead download links - no response yet.

Things that won't have download links include built-in extensions, exporter-installed extensions, extensions you get via the ClickStore, and of course paid extensions.
I may have those extensions if you contact me, but I won't be sending them out to the omniverse.

Please send me any missing links, or tell me about bad information. I tried hard to keep it accurate, but there's always human error. My email's on the site under the Contact page, or I'm in the Clickteam Discord chat.

In case you missed it, here's Please login to see this link..

    Cheers,
    ~Phi

  • That's fantastic. Thanks for doing all that great work. I'll definitely be consulting this list.

Maybe a silly question, but what do ExtensionView and the Extension list INI do, and should we use them?

  • ExtensionView is an extension manager/installer software. It was made for MMF2, but it can be used in CTF2.5 too.

The Extension list INI was an INI to put in Extensions folder. It modifies the categories on the left in a Create New Object window, and how extensions are organised into them.

So what do you recommend: using the default Clickteam Extension Manager, or ExtensionView?

You should use the CEM if the extension is on there, but not all of them are. For an extension to appear on the CEM, the developer has to submit it. And a lot of developers have gone AWOL, so haven't submitted their extensions.

If the CEM has it, use its version - that'll be where the ext developers send the newest versions.
Otherwise, use my list, or ExtensionView. The ExtensionView and my website use the same database, so the same downloads as well.

Unlike the CEM, my list also has a very complete search/compatibility filter. You can test which extensions have been ported, e.g. to Android and iOS, with ease, instead of having to scroll through the CEM's full list and inspect the exporters for each extension.

So my extension list would be useful for that, too.

I think the extension "oinc client" is missing

Zonacas, yeah, the OINC Client was deprecated (source code lost, then rebuilt and named Lacewing), but feel free to send any extensions that are missing to my email. I'll add them to the list!

  • Hi

Nice list, found a few extensions I didn't have :)
I also went through the list to see if I had any that the list doesn't.
And I found a few (I also added some standard Clickteam extensions to the list since some of them was on the list already):

    • Active
    • Android Screen Support
    • Android SMS
    • Android Splash
    • AppInstalled
    • Appodeal
    • ClickExt object
    • Facebook X v2
    • Formatted Text
    • GArR
    • Native Notification Manager
    • Profiler
    • Question & Answer
    • Score
    • Shake
    • String
    • Sub Application
    • Web View (iOS only, Different from Web View Object)

I can upload the extensions somewhere if you want it, (those that are free not found anywhere) Some of them are on the clickstore either for free or for money,

I also found icons that are wrong:

    • "Colour Converter" has "Color Dialog" icon
    • "Color Dialog Object" has "Color Selector" icon
    • "Color Selector" has "Colorizer" icon
    • "Colorizer" has "Colour Converter" icon
    • "Easing Object" has "E-mail Object" icon
    • "Easy Detector" has "Easing Object" icon
    • "Easy Grid Object" has "Easy Detector" icon
    • "EasyScrollbar" has "Easy Grid Object" icon
    • "EasyXML Object" has "EasyScrollbar" icon
    • "Edit Box" has "EasyXML object" icon
    • "Email object" has "Edit Box: SelectioN" icon
    • "Explorer" has "Expression Evaluator" icon
    • "Expression Evaluator" has "Explorer" icon
    • "Format Object" has "Formatted object" icon
    • "Formatted object" has "Formatted Text" icon
    • "OS Information" has "OS" icon
    • "OS" has "Os Information" icon
    • "Position Controller" has wrong icon
    • "PostgreSQL" has "Position Controller" icon
    • "Quadratic Roots" has "Queue Object" icon
    • "Queue Object" has "Quick Backdrop" icon
    • "Quick Save" has "Quick Hash" icon
    • "Quick Token Object" has "Quick Save" icon
    • "Quick Hash object" has "Quick Token Object" icon
    • "SQL Database Object" has "SQL Server" object icon
    • "SQL Server Object" has "SQL Database Object" icon
    • "Store X" has "String" icon

And there are a few extensions that doesn't work at all for CF2.5:

    • postGreSql cannot load
    • pxtone Player cannot load
    • Quadratic Roots cannot load
    • Resources Object cannot load
    • Tile LOS cannot load
  • Zonacas, I added OINC ;)

Decal, thanks for that. You always need a second pair of eyes for these things... X)
I fixed all the icons - please edit your post to just leave any problems still remaining.

Objects that have no MFX file aren't included in the list, nor are non-free ones, as I probably won't have bought them.

    • Active - non-MFX
    • Android Screen Support - paid for, $5
    • Android SMS - paid for, $3
    • Android Splash - paid for, $5
    • Formatted Text - non-MFX
    • Native Notification Manager - paid for, $5
    • Question & Answer - non-MFX
    • Score - non-MFX
    • String - non-MFX
    • Sub Application - non-MFX
    • Web View (iOS only, Different from Web View Object) - it's in the list under "iOS WebView"

Things I might be able to add, if I found them:

    • AppInstalled
    • Appodeal
    • ClickExt object
    • Facebook X v2
    • GArR
    • Profiler
    • Shake

Things that won't show up in Fusion 2.5:

    • Clipboard object
    • Control X 95 object
    • Newgrounds object - crashes Fusion 2.5 / Unicode Fusion 2.0 on load
    • Quadratic Roots object
    • Tile LOS object - crashes Fusion 2.5 / Unicode Fusion 2.0 on load
    • Titlebar object

If QuickTime isn't installed, QuickTime 2/VR 2 won't show up either.
Miniature Audiere is missing audiere.dll from the Fusion root, so won't load either. (not the one from Data\Runtime, that's there but won't suffice)

Thanks for your kind comments guys! :D

  • The icons were fine, it's just your browser cache used the old image.
I updated the page, so now it should always use the most recent one.
