Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Clickteam.

Thank you a lot for your reply, casleziro! As you said, the issue was on the Steam side of things!

It turns out, if I play the game while I'm still logged into my Steamworks settings, no scores will be uploaded! Before, I always tested the game with my firefox browser still open, with which I was logged into Steamworks. After testing the game with the browser closed, it worked! Very stupid problem, but I'm glad I got it sorted! :D

EDIT: Just saw your post now, chrilley. Thanks for commenting! :)

    Still no one any idea?

In the example that I have included in my post yesterday, I have used fast loops in my code. I have also tried to used no loops at all, but that doesn't work either.

The problem seems to be that the action "Upload score 1 for leaderboard "s106" using method=0/1" simply doesn't do anything, because when I prevent the program from continuing unless the upload is successful (using the condition "On success uploading score to leaderboard "s106""), the game freezes. This indicates that, after all, the uploading never becomes successful. I have really no idea why it is this way and how I could possibly fix it. :(

I still haven't been able to find a solution. If it helps, here is what I've done:

First, I defined my leaderboards in my Steamworks settings, a snippet of which you can see below:

Then, I tried various things in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 to implement the leaderboards. Here you can see the latest method I've tried, which is still not working:

    Hi dustingunn,

It looks like you're familiar with the leaderboards functions of the Steamworks extention. I wish to implement leaderboard functionality into my Steam game, Quick Slick Deadly, which has been made with Clickteam Fusion 2.5. I already have successfully used Steamworks.mfx to implement achievements, but for whatever reason, leaderboards don't want to work. I've been trying different things for hours now, but the action "Upload score 12345 for leaderboard "name_of_leaderboard" using method=0" simply doesn't add anything to the game's leaderboards. I've tried to use this action separately, as well is in conjunction with "Find Leaderboard" and/or "On Leaderboard Found". Nothing helps! Could you write me a guide for implementing this feature correctly?

Please help me! After so many wasted hours of trying to solve the problem on my own without any success, I'm highly desperate! :(

    Hi everyone,

Of course, it had been nice if I could see the example "leaderboard_examples.mfa" that comes with the Steamworks extension, but this one example requires listview.mfx, which is only available for the Pro version of Fusion 2.5.

Please help me! After so many wasted hours of trying to solve the problem on my own without any success, I'm highly desperate! :(

Sorry to reply so late, but I was away for a while. Hope that's been OK. :) Have you managed to get passed the second level yet? It actually really shouldn't be that hard. In general, something that is really very important in this game is that you really need to read all instructions and tips carefully, understand them, and keep them in mind, for not only the current mission, but all following missions as well. Really, all information given through the various texts are very important and if you understand and remember them, then, the game shouldn't be extremely hard for you. It could still get quite hard at some points, but it should always be manageable.

For example, in this mission (second level), it is important to remember that if you chain flying through the rings, you get boost energy much faster. You can tell that you have successfully chained from one ring to the next if the green number that appears on screen right after collecting a ring goes one number up (e.g. from 1 to 2). To do a chain, you have to reach each next ring within 2 seconds. Furthermore, if you do a ring chain of 10 (said green number goes up to 10) your boost speed increases. This is not really necessary for this mission, but it is information that appears at the start of this mission and should be remembered for later missions.

Hi happygreenfrog, and also other members of this forum, :)

Quick Slick Deadly doesn't have an official demo that can be downloaded by everyone; but specially for this forum, I have made a demo version and am now putting a download link for it here for a limited period of time. ;) Here it is:

Please login to see this link.

Unlike the full version, you do not need to install this demo version. Just download and play. Make sure that the folder from which you will run the application allows the application to save files in it. Also, Windows Media Player must be installed on your computer and your display must support a minimum resolution of 1280x720. This demo allows you to play with all three classes. :) But remember that, at start, only one class is available and you will unlock the other two while you play.

I hope you guys are gonna have fun and will make me happy by buying the game! ;)

SmallDevTalk has honored me by featuring an interview with me on their website:

Please login to see this link.

It would mean a lot to me if as many people as possible would read this interview; because, I think, that it helps greatly to get to know the game, its development process, and my future plans a lot better and could help you decide whether you would like to purchase/up-vote "Quick Slick Deadly" or not. Please, do me a favor and check out the above link! :)

Many thanks to all of you!
