Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
I Reduced the color depth and got the file down to a smaller size and compressed it into a zip file. Please take a look and let me know if this file is able to be imported through 2.0, then 2.5.
I'm a longtime user of Clickteam products. Started with Click and Create, then Games Factory, then MMF. I made it as far as MMF version 1.5 (yeah, I know, really old stuff).
I made some really cool programs using the old software, and have often wanted to upgrade, but never did. Recently I saw the Humble Bundle (Steam) offer for MMF 2.5 developer and had to go for it.
When I try to open/import one of my old application .cca files into MMF 2.5, it only brings in the graphics for the first frame, with no events or actions, so the app doesn't run at all.
Is it possible to import all the objects and events so I can take advantage of many of the new features not previously available in the older versions? Or do I have to re-build everything from scratch?
I'm using MMF 1.5 (I know it's old, I will be updating to MMF2 soon).
I created a cca file on my home machine and it opens fine. I try to open it on my office computer (with MMF installed from the same version CD and update patch), and I get the Cannot copy data element error, and the file will not open.
I tried opening an earlier version of the same file and it opens fine. The latest version will not open on this machine. I tried re-installing MMF, same problem. Note - I did get a trojan virus warning during installation. Could my antivirus have kept something from installing? Why would there be a Trojan Virus (or something that looks like a trojan virus) on the original MMF CD in the first place?
Any suggestions why this is happening, and what I might do to fix it.
