Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
I am currently making a game for Android and IOS devices and I am thinking about publishing to Steam. My game is going to have updates for new levels every few months, is it possible to update a Steam game with new levels?
I am getting close to finishing a level maker for a game and would like to know if it is possible for people to upload their levels and download other peoples levels (kind of like mario maker). I would like to do this without having to download extensions, and a step by step tutorial would be of much help.
Thanks for your help DaveC, but I do not know anything about coding so I don't think making my own extension is a good option. I would however like to know if there is already an extension available or if one is being created by Clickteam themselves?
Does anybody know if there is any possible way to use notifications in an Ios app. I have seen that someone has created one three years ago, but I have read that it has a few glitches. I need to know this for I am thinking of making an app that REQUIRES notifications.
Thanks for the help RhysD, but I don't think I quite got it.
Is this normal because if I pause in the middle of a jump and then press play I fall straight down. Is there a way to fix this? If not then I will make it so you can only pause while touching the ground.
The hero of the game along with the enemies have physics platform movement. There is no exact number of moving objects for there are more enemies in some frames then others.
I would like a pause screen instead of it just stopping.
I am currently working on a platformer using the physics platform movement and was wondering how I could pause the game so that it could continue from where it left off, anybody got any suggestions?
I don't know if anyone has asked this question before, but is there anyway to make an infinity jumper? I want the screen to keep scrolling up forever, but when I put in virtual height as -1 is just goes down forever.
Also, my first game isn't far from completion, but one thing I am having trouble with is trying to find a platform character or two. Does anybody know where I can find some good quality characters? I only need them to be able to run and jump, and less than $15 per one if possible. I am looking for a cartoon style character, and I don't want the characters to be holding any kind of weapon.
