Hi!
In many little projects that I do, I would often need an AI that actually knows where it's going. Maybe like a race car or an enemy that would get around walls instead of going towards it.
Most of the time I need to find a way to avoid the need of such AI and I would really love to understand how to make it.How can I make an enemy AI find his way (by himself) in a maze? Or make him hunt the player on a map?
If anyone could give me some tips or tutorials, I would appreciate it alot.

I heard a while back that if you sell your game but you don't own the dev edition, you had to put the logo intro in your game.
Is that all? Is there any royalty fee? And what is exactly needed?

I'm trying to figure out how it would be possible to actually have visuals on screen from music file. Like many music player, you know, visuals on screen that react to the music. Or if I wanted my character to shoot on the beat or something.

See in the image below, I check if "Verify" is different than 1 and if the value of "R1" is equal to all other "Rs".
But for some reason, sometimes when "Verify" is equal to 1, it still does like if it was different.I noticed that only the first line right below "Verify <> 1" is a gray dot. And all other are red dots. So I guess that only the gray one is ignored if "Verify" is = 1.
If I'm right, how can I change the red dots to gray dots?Thanks

I'm still experimenting with Clickteam Fusion 2.5, trying to learn many different things that might help for a future project.
This time I would like to have a randomly selected message from a database. And when the user click "Next" it would show another message but it would never show the same message the user already saw.
How could I achieve that in a way that I could have 3 or 100 or 1000 possible messages. How should I build the message's database in a way it would be secured so the users won't edit them?I already tried with multiple Frames but if I have like 100 possibilities it won't be much effective.

To do the specific work I'm trying to achieve here (create all the rotation direction), is there a program (free or not) that would actually help me out in a very good way without having to spend 1 hour on each sprite?

I'm working on a small topdown project. And I've noticed that when I click on the "Create Rotation Direction" for all the available directions, my sprite image quality get really bad. All blurry and pixels where they don't belong. So I end up with 4 directions where my sprite looks good and for all other angles it's crap.
Is there a better way to create all these rotation directions without losing quality? Oh and my sprite is not a high quality image, its pretty simple. About 9 colors in a pixel art style.

Yes, unfortunately Fusion 2.5 doesen't do "Real" Fullscreen very well, for pixel art at least. It ends up distorting pixels, when it shouldn't be stretching them at all etc. The only workaround, like JimJam said, is to use the Ultimate Fullscreen Object. This will make your game use what's known as Windowed Fullscreen, making it fit any screen size, displaying pixel perfectly. It can add black bars to fill up any off screen space that is a different aspect ratio also, so it's got you covered for different screen sizes.
Your game will still cover the user's screen, like real fullscreen, but it's actually running windowed. Don't lose sleep over it though, just go ahead and roll with it
