If you want to give them more money, you can stay subscribed to Patreon for as long as you like. I subscribed for over a year. Agree clickteam does deserve money for all the updates they make to Fusion.

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

updated my 2021 i9 macbook pro to macOS Ventura13.0.1 and to latest Crossover 22.0.1 Fusion wont even run now , starts with corrupted looking text then exits. Tried to update Fusion Dev to latest release and it wont install in to the bottle any more. Says it cant update as it needs Fusion to be installed and then exits. So basically full install of Standalone release wont even install now. This is my music mac that normally just runs my DAW and my sound system. Just has Fusion on it in case im on the road and want to mess with it. Looks like that idea is pants now though. So I guess its not just a M1 thing its more a Ventura and crossover thing.
Went back to check the 2015 i7 macbook pro, that's running Monterery with crossover 22.0.1 and steam installed in win 7 bottle. Fusion Version 2.5+ (Build R294.10) Everything works fine.
Nothing I can suggest for latest macOS just hope codeweavers sort it so we can use Fusion again on latest OS.
I bought a windows PC to run Fusion on think ill just run another engine on my mac when im away.
I might mess about with other installs and testing other bottles when I get some more time if I find any solutions ill post them.

Check this thread. Please login to see this link.
Maybe DL the lite version also.
Happy game dev to ya

Just checked Beta and Release on steam running in a crossover win7 bottle. All icons display ok when using dark selected under main ui style in the skin editor.
I run Fusion on crossover on an i5 macbook pro for steam and also on a i9 running standalone. both in win 7 bottle.
Some of the icons look crap with jagged edges but can see them all. Running light theme the color of some icons is very close to the ui as default. Try making a dark theme see if it helps..Waiting on the m2max for my next macbook pro. Dear Clickteam. Market share is growing and many devs on mac could use Fusion3. Please stop messing about with F2.5 and release F3. Love 2.5 but meh its a dinosaur.

Well, it depends, but thing is that if the computer doesn't support DX11 for some reason, it will fallback to DX9...
It's not that common these days for people to still be limited to DX9, but people like to keep compatibility.
Ideally would be better to find a way to optimize it so it would work with DX9, but if people ask I can add it to DX11 and other runtimes for the time being.DX11 has been out since 2009 so not that many people still running computers that old. Time to move on. Would be good if DX11 was added to all Fusion versions as standard instead of being part of plus.

Yes I am using build 294.10 my bad ( just feels like fusion is always in beta lol ) Restarted Fusion and unpacked exe worked.
-
Bitdefender has started to Quarantine exe builds. Says infected with : with Gen:Variant.Mikey.142410 ... Its easy to restore the file though would never send it to any one. This is on the latest beta.
Tried to build unpacked EXE after and no option to save as unpacked even with the checkbox ticked under Windows tab maybe a bug.
Using Fusion dev latest beta

If anyone wants to know how anything is done in the game.
Simply ask below and I will try to explain it or make a Demo .mfa for you.Keep on CLICKING!!!
Looking really good. Love your work.
Be great if you shared a Demo mfa with some basics on how it works.
Really like how you do real backgrounds too. -
With the frame limitation gone, the Free Edition users won't stand a chance I don't think. A week might be a short amount of time, yes. However, this game jam is meant for EVERYONE in the Clickteam community, like I previously stated.
As for the open .Mfa idea, I like it, but it is just the game owner's choice to give it away to the community. It isn't mine. And like I said before, there's theme suggestions in the Discord server, and we'll have a vote.
People didn't seem to mind when Sparckman did his competition, where you upload the .Mfa file to a website, and then he'll look at it and see if it's all good, then publish the .Exe to the website. I was in the first competition. I know he's somewhat banned from Clickteam now, for why I still don't know, but we just want everyone to have fun.
If Clickteam wants to host a game jam, then we'll happily postpone the jam for people to do the official Clickteam jam.
I'm sorry if I offended anybody with the announcement of submitting their .Mfa files, but these are the rules. And if the game owner wants to share their .Mfa files, then that'll be available.
I really hope more people join in the jam. Because it's to showcase people's skills. And if people want to, they can carry on their project after the game jam, with no submitting the .Mfa files.
I hope this clears more things up.
Thanks!
Think your trying to do a good thing so good luck with it.
Few more thoughts.
If there is No prizes you need another reason for people to join.
For fun is not really a great reason as we are already having fun in Fusion.
Sharing MFAs should be a rule for every one or no one. (no one shares means you don't get the MFA either)
If every one shares that is a reason for people to join as they get to learn from others MFAs. The share is the prize in effect.
Free edition users would get beaten any way if its open to a lot more experienced users.Every thing should be explained in the forum post and on the itch page and not need to join another discord server to find out more details. We have an official discord server already. Whats the response been on there.
The way its currently set up or explained is not something id personally join.

suggest two things.
Drop the frame limit as a time limit of one week is already a short time. With no frame limit you don't even need the MFA.
or Make it open MFA for everyone that joins to learn. You could run themes for the jams based on different game mechanics in Fusion. example top down one month, platform another. People can join and show their own ways of doing things and learn new ways from others.

Hello everyone,
I'm setting up a monthly game jam for the Clickteam community to show off what they've learnt and to show off.
Whether you're a beginner, using the free edition, or whether you're advanced, this jam is meant for you to test your skills.
I'll be hosting it every first Friday of the month.
I really hope Clickteam Fusion 2.5 doesn't mind me hosting this every month. This is all meant to be fun after all!
Here's the link to the jam page: Please login to see this link.
Here's the Discord server: Please login to see this link.
Please remember that this is meant to be fun.
Thanks!
Think game jams are fun even though I never finished one.
Not sure why you are asking for people to send you their MFA to prove they made the game they submit.
What happens to the MFA files?
Do they get posted some where so all participants can get them and learn from them also?
I'm more inclined to join if they get shared with every one and it becomes a learning experience to all. Would recommend MFAs should also have comments added to explain whats happening also in that case.
Good luck with it and maybe with a bit more info I might give it a go. -
Can you recommend any particularly good Discord channels for Fusion?
Check your Clickteam passport page when logged into the forum and you should see your discord registration code for the official Discord server that Linky linked above.

Always thought fake 3d stuff was cool. Being more of a graphics guy i love a good fake. Also love just working out how to do stuff in Fusion for sense of achievement and the fun of it.
Id guess there are many people pushing Fusion to do things that could be done in other engines also. Amazing the knowledge we pick up over the years also.
I am not great at math but have learned some from fusion and there are a few on Discord that regularly share math knowledge. Check it out if your not on there.
Keep pushing Fusion op and happy game dev to ya. -
Tested this how you have it set up in your ini pic but with different values. There is an error on the Jump Hold Strength setting. Instead of showing the value it shows "default"
Note that the name is different on the ini also instead of being JumpHoldStrength its JumpHoldGravity. Weird but this is fusion lol so i tried JumpHoldStrength instead and still get the same error showing Default. like in the pic attached. Please login to see this attachment. -
Great thank you.

Hi looking for some help with Platform Movement Object Presets.
Help file for PMO says “ You can apply presets of the setup box variables from the setup box, those are loaded from an ini file named PlatformMovPresets.ini, in the extension directory. If you open that ini file in notepad you will see instructions on how to add your own presets for use in the object. “
Issue is there is no file called PlatformMovPresets.ini in the extension directory.
Has this file been lost in updates or did it not ever exist?
Can it be created bu us and if it can does any one know the format/layout the ini file should use.
Thanks to anyone that can help.

Thanks for update .. Crash to desktop also happens on standalone developer version.

Not sure if you have seen LMMS but its a great open source DAW project. You can load in VST instruments also. There are many great VSTs too. Please login to see this link. Maybe it will give some ideas and check out how the extending sounds works on it. All DAW do it the same really.
This VST is great too maybe good for generating some sounds for you to add to your project also. Please login to see this link.
Personally I use Bitwig as my chosen DAW after years of using Orion, before that Fruity Loops and before that well first got hooked on sound when I saw the sound editor on one of those old cube macs back in the 80s. Love your work.
