Undo feature is useless
take this as constructive criticism, not an attack.
Undo feature in CTF 2.5 is really bad and with that I mean it. I often lose time just because I can't use its Undo feature. Imagine cases where I need to run test app to verify something but after I need to make undo steps, I can't. Simply because UNDO is no longer available.
This is a huge time sink and very uneffective. Because after this I need to re-code the steps manually again.
I hope F3 won't have these issues. All the best
At least I did it in better way now, guess everything bad is for something good. But still...
Undo is by editor window. Frame editor, event editor, etc. Once you change editors, the undo cache clears. It's rudimentary but it DOES all but guarantee Fusion doesn't RAM leak from storing every possible change in every possible window.
If you're worried about how a specific event is gonna work or not work, duplicate it and deactivate the duplicate. Then you'll at least have a backup state of those lines of code that you can revert back to instantly, and without any Git, Subversion, or Perforce shenanigans.
Saving the file also clears the undo cache IIRC, which is a bit annoying.
BTW, when you undo in event list editor, and your focus is not at the line that going to be undid, fusion won't scroll to there, make it uneasy to know which one is undid when you editing multiple lines at the same time.
