Changing memory settings
So I've run into a problem submitting complex games for the Windows Phone market. There isn't a way to specify that a game is for "high-memory" devices during submission. This is expected to be done through code, however I can't seem to get the code they provide to work.
<Requirement Name="ID_REQ_MEMORY_300" />
Is this because MMF2 uses an older version of Visual Studio? Can someone help me out? Has anyone else dealt with this before?
I'll look for it on where you should put this line and come back to you.
The version of Visual Studio we use does not matter, it should work in VS2010 and 2012...
Ok, thanks for looking into it for me. When editing inside of VS it truly seems like it won't go anywhere, as anywhere I put it, VS says it was expecting something else. I downloaded something called xaptool which extracts the manifest directly from the XAP and lets you change it, then re-insert it. This works, although it doesn't check the syntax like VS does. I haven't attempted an upload using this method yet.
