I think I'm probably done...
There are likely to be a few bugs, so I suggest you test it quite thoroughly before using it for anything important (and obviously you use it entirely at your own risk - I am not responsible for any loss of data, blah blah blah...)
Note that the search function always starts from whichever cell is currently selected.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
I think i may have fed you false info though. For some reason my array opens up half way down the grid and has the info vertical instead of horizontal. Not sure why. It could be my array that is borked though.
Again thank you for this it is awesome. I honestly didn't expect you to do it for me! Cannot thank you enough for this.
You're welcome :)
It sounds like you just have your X & Y indexes the opposite way around. At least I hope that's all it is anyway...
Does this fix the issue: http://sdrv.ms/UWpWux ?
Fantastic, Thank You again. That has done it.
Just a couple of minor changes: http://sdrv.ms/Rsuxpt
* Fixed it so values can contain commas and quotes without messing anything up.
* Made it so you can hit Enter instead of having to press the Search button.
Unless you come across any bugs, I don't intend to work on it any more.
You have already gone above and beyond my expectations with this. I originally posted for tips on how to accomplish this but you have outdone yourself, you really have. I cannot thank you enough.
That's alright. Happy Christmas :)
has anyone got a download?

I don't think I have that particular example any more, but I also don't think it would be of much use to anyone either, as it wasn't a general purpose array editor - it was really just suited to editing a very particular set of data that the original poster needed.
I did make a couple of general purpose editors, but in the end I decided that instead of trying to recreate the wheel (in this case, a spreadsheet app), it would be much easier and more useful to create a tool that could convert between .xml Excel spreadsheet and .arr Fusion array formats, so I that's what I did.
