Build 293.10 - Release version

Hello,

The build 293.10 is available in the Product Owner's Lounge forum (or when you click Help / Check for Update in the product) and on Steam.

Change log

Important release notes for the Android exporter

- If you use Google Play Games objects in your applications, please download the latest version for the build 293.7 or above from Clickstore and install it, as previous versions are not compatible.
- You can now build Android AAB app bundles with expansion, which means they can be larger than 150 Mb.
- Some important changes in the Android runtime, Fernando created some documents to explain them, see below. For adaptative icons and storage changes, in theory most apps
won't need changes (see change log first), but for InApp Purchases on Android you'll probably have to carefully check his document:

InApp Android changes: changes in purchase flow process.
Android storage changes: changes if you want to target Android 10 or want to use non public folders out of the app data storage folder.
Android adaptative icons: check if your app icon is still correctly displayed.

If any question or issue specific to this build, please post it here, thanks!

In case of problem you can reinstall any other version (no need to uninstall first, just reinstall the patch of the build you want to reinstall).

PS: the CF 2.5 patch updates all the installed exporters, as well as the 2.5+ DLC, you do not need to reinstall them.

I can't download says only registered owners?.. problem with my forum account?

If its possible please add joining of objects using fixedID "Physics Engine Object"
currently there is only an object picker which makes it difficult to scope objects and join instances of objects.

Actually that's on separate forums it might just say that all the time. The forum icons are just greyed out for me

Update: now available on Steam too (as usual you have to suscribe to the private beta, in the Steam properties of Fusion, with the code given in this page)

Amazing work on the update as usual!

Suggestion

Ability to not auto format expressions in expression editor, this can be extremely useful with big expressions that needs line breaks and such to be readable

Load File List is not supported on those platforms, AFAIK it's supported only in the Windows and Mac runtimes.

IIRC to load picture files in Ansdroid/HTML5 either provide an URL or include the files in the Binary Files tab in the Data Elements editor.

Thank you for update, Clickteam!

I have one problem. I want to add Active image as backdrop (using action "Add Backdrop"), but Active can change his scale (for example 2). When I tried to add backdrop, Active's scale is ignored:

It is a bug or not? If not, as something like this would be very useful for optimizing project. Do you have plans to fix/add this feature?

Yeah this problem was there from a long time and if I remember correctly it has been suggested by a lot of people too

From old posts it appears that it is hard to implement in Fusion but hopefully Clickteam can do something about it as this can be extremely useful in a lot of cases

If we have few backdrops, and use "Convert blocks of backdrops to quick backdrops, we got message about the impossibility of undo. It's okay. But if I anyway undo one-two times, Fusion will be crash

Another bug (I guess)

In my project I have Active as hitbox and Active as player animation.

Hitbox have Attachment 30304 physics platform movement, player animation always get animation from hitbox:

Always Player animation : Set animation to "Anim Number( "Hitbox" )"

Hitbox have just one sprite, player animation have some animations and frames.

Before this beta animations of player animations was played normally, but with this beta now animation does not start to play.

@GKProduction Use “Surface Object” it can add backdrops scaled and rotated, though in DX11 there is a bug where transparency is rendered black

Ah, yes, probably the Undo stack have to be reset before converting backdrop objects. This will be done.

Event editor BUG

Hi, just found this weird rendering bug on event editor, not sure why it happens, but this file seems to always get the bug on the latest beta...

Event list editor scrolling bug

This is not specific to this build as it happens in previous builds too anyways the problem is when I do some eventing in the event list editor like opening/ closing grouping, moving event or deleting them, basically the normal stuff done in that editor it randomly clamps to an area when I try to scroll up even if there is more content left, I really don't know what specifically causes it but it basically happens very randomly and very frequently, the only fix to it is to quit that editor and return to it again but that resets undo / redo data

It seems there is a mistake in Android In-App object with new security strings.

If i select Profile ID or Account ID, it will show "account profile ID" and "obfuscate profile ID" instead (i guess) of "obfuscate account ID" and "obfuscate profile ID".

getting random crashes in my app with the new build, seem to maybe have something to do with mouse and active system box interaction but can't nail it down..

reverting back to previous build for the time being.

I can send the app over for debugging if this would help?
