can you elaborate more which android sdk you are using?
I'm using the newist one 7.1.1 does the link to the sdk need to be directly to the .sdk file or the folder? I have it set to the folder cuz I cant find the direct file...

Use target Android 6.x and API 24
if that doesn't work, remove Android Studio
still same error :/
What java version are you using?
what product are you using MMF2 or Fusion 2.5?

Is your issue solved now, after upgrading? Make sure you have Fusion build 288.3 - click Help in Fusion menu and check if there is an update available.
With Perry's solution you should be fine with up to date Fusion 2.5.
Eventually you should not use Android Studio at all when you still get an error with build 288.3.
You can also try this setup guide without Android Studio here.
well I updated to 2.5 2 days ago but there an update for the android add on seeing if that works
just finished the update and it looks like it worked thanks everyone :)
