Added brightness settings so you can now have it so you can see most of the level, none of the level and have make it through just on your flash light and the ambient light and the other option is standard lighting.
You can now use the RBFG grenades to light up areas instead of just using them to blow aliens up as you can see on the below image.

Added a new feature last night which means you can now store one health pack similar to how it works in Super Mario World with a spare item.
Changed the shoot to CTRL as that gives people more options.

Hoo boy! Game has gotten a lot of new features lately! :D Is the game freeware or is it coming to a store?
Yeah we have worked our butts off over the last year to make this into a fully fledged title. We have voice acting, collectable characters to unlock, full controller support (PS4/Xbox 360 etc) and 4 levels with more coming in an update this month :)Quote:

Yeah, you definitely have to get it on Steam or some other big online game store :) GameJolt is pretty dead these days in my opinion.

We are concentrating on the next batch of levels now.
Started work on the first boss for Alien Scumbags, I hadn't considered adding bosses but it was requested a lot so thought what the heck lets give it a go.
Currently working on animating this guy.

Due to personal reasons I have been unable to progress with Alien Scumbags until recently.

Just a quick note to say that a new hot fix patch has been released for Alien Scumbags on Gamejolt.
It fixes several FPS issues as well as a host of long standing problems.
While working on another patch I got a little distracted and made this little hoverboard, still needs work I think its pretty cool.

We are fast at work on the next update which is more about polishing the current content before we do the next batch of levels.
Along with new music, more objects in levels and other bits we have also increased the resolution tiny bit giving us space to make the menus look a little nicer.

Just adding a new freaky look to the runner zombies after you shoot them, inspired by Binding of Isaac which is my latest addiction lol.

Added motion blur, more destructible stuff, improved looking platforms, all platforms now have rails to make the world look more realistic, oh and added explosive cookers which is always good :D

Windowed options for those not wanting to play in full screen mode,
Improved environments including rooms, new objects, scenery etc.
Faster movement on ladders
More gore effects
Improved boss battle
More music and SFX
Several bug fixes
More graphical effects such as motion blur
New run mechanic and more!

A new air boost ability has just been added meaning you can cover large distances, however it uses much more stamina then running.
Its especially fun if you use the low gravity character mask as you can fly for ages with that.

All characters now have outfits, it does mean a delay but think its so worth it.

Making outfits for all of the characters has meant the next update and the one we are hoping to bring to Steam is still not available yet but you can't beat being able to play as Mister Trumped in all his glory.

Just wanted to give a reason for the lack of progress as of late.
Soon after releasing the latest update my laptop switched off while updating which sent my laptop into a boot loop, since then I've been working with losing a month's worth of content.
It's been really hard to get the motivation to continue but slowly getting back to where I was prior to the disaster.
