So I have a background image so massive that its 15,000 by 10500 and 80mb. My overall frame is that size while whats shown on screen is always 1920 by 1080. I cut the image into 25 pieces with each being 3000 by 2100. Whats the ideal pixel size that I should have for each image to improve performance and reduce loading times? Are they supposed to be multiples of 256 or something? Should I cut it into more pieces?
