Event editor bugs from the past
When scrolling up and having a comment box:

Oh and the one where randomly, if you have more than one condition for an event, and you click on one condition that's not on top, it will highlight it, and everything's ok right? But then you press delete and it deletes the top one
Remember these bugs? I want to know why they carried over if you completely rewrote MMF2?

Re: Event editor bugs from the past
They still exist? Ouch, I haven't tried that yet but that does suck.

Re: Event editor bugs from the past
I've never seen that bug. The delete thing - there was a similar thing in the event editor itself, which has been fixed in MMF2 ... I thought it was fixed in the action list window too... or maybe it's fixed in the latest build (soon to be released)?

The bug that selects the top most condition when you try to only select one condition in a line is really annoying when trying to copy and paste to save time... it seems to happen randomly as far as I can tell too.

Yeah, that's the one he's talking about. I figured it would have been fixed. Maybe it's already fixed in the next patch like AndyH said, we can only hope. :S

Re: Event editor bugs from the past
I've never seen that top line bug before, but I just went looking for it and hit it. What happened was the top line still had the flashing box round it, while another condition line was highlighted. I deleted the highlighted line, but the top line with the flashing box was the one that actually got deleted.
So - keep your eyes peeled for where the flashing box is, for the moment.

Re: Event editor bugs from the past
Usually to keep it from happening I have to select a condition from another row, then go back to the one I want to delete, then it will delete the correct one.

Re: Event editor bugs from the past
Same here. Often happened to me in 1.5 when copying and pasting.
Another one that I saw have gone over to MMF2 is one where a closed event group that is at the bottom of the screen in the event editor, when 'hidden' behind the start-menu tray will resize to fill the whole event editor (its name centered in the box)!
When you scroll one line up or down it gets back to normal, but as soon as you scroll back it's filling up again.
I don't have a screenshot now, and I don't think that it always happens...
Has anyone else had this one?

How could you not have seen it before, it happens atleast 25% of the time. Can I get someone from clickteam to say "hey we'll put this on our todo list" or something?

Re: Event editor bugs from the past
Probably Francois changed something just before release that increased the frequency of it.
