Anti-aliasing bug?
Hello.
I use MMFusion2 Dev Demo version and I noticed a problem with anti-aliasig in active objects. When I try to rotate the object in my app with enabled option [anti-aliasing] and with disabled, it seems to be the same effect. I think that anti-aliasing doesen't work :-(
What can I do to properly use anti-aliasing to see the effect?

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
You should see a blurring of its edges. Do you mean that it doesn't seem to work at all, or that it doesn't work while the active is rotated? (I can't check for myself now.)

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
It seems to work fine, you very clearly see the difference, especially if your image contains lines.

The anti-aliasing option in the rotation "blurs" all the rotated pixels, it doesn't anti-alias the borders like the Anti-Aliasing option in the ink effects.

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
Is this the 0 for "quick" and 1 for "quality" in the roatation that you refer to?
I didn't know that was anti-aliasing...?

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
Ah, yes, sorry, I was confused because in the internal routine "quality=1" is called anti-aliasing...
Edit: the Anti-Aliasing option in the properties works when you rotate the objects, but it seems it's not very good in this case.

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
This is my example: http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/567/example2dw.png
In zoomed image I can see blur, but unfortunately it is too small and because I can't see the diference.
Off course I tell about anti-aliasing option in Ink effects.
In both cases is put to 1 for "quality" the parametr in the rotation.
Maybe there is the chance to improve anti-aliasing effect?

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
i think alpha layers are your best way to antialising. That was you can create the antialising as you like it. However i know its not the same effect but if you play around with it and use it smart i think you can get some great results.

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
I don't think we can easily change the current anti-aliasing effect, it was the best "arrangement" I could fine so it works fine with different types of graphics. Will have to think of that...

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
Yes you're right. Thanx.
But it's a pity that a-a option can't give the same results like in 3D games ;-)

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
But maybe then I prepare a grate image with alpha in PS the a-a option can be sufficient.
Thanx a lot.

Re: Anti-aliasing bug?
Yeah, that's something I'll have to do - play around with photoshop - I don't think I'll ever manage to do good-looking graphics pixel by pixel, especially not smooth alpha channels =P
It'll be interesting for me to see if I can make decent graphics with a drawing tablet, I'm thinking of getting one...
