Bug in MMF2 Image Editor ?
Hallo ,
yesterday i had a problem with the image editor.
I am write a little jum'n'run game.
There are two frames , one for the Games Instruction
and a second for the Sprites to look what the Characters
do.
Yesterday i want to add the first game level.
I go in the Storybaord Editor and add a frame.
Now i place my player, and if i double click
on it(the player) the image editor started, but i missed the colours,
on the place where the colours must be are only 8- 12
different colours all others colours are black.
I have save my program and start MMF2 again but the same
result.
Then I delete the new frame in the Storyboard Editor.
Go in the Frame Editor and add the "level" frame in the
Workspace. Make the same to add my player an it runs.
The right Colours are now in Image Editor.
Thats all.

Re: Bug in MMF2 Image Editor ?
Odd..
Do you remember how you added the frame in the storyboard editor? Just by clicking the numbered button on the last line? or by copy/paste, drag & drop, etc?
And you haven't modified the palette in the frame properties?
Yves.

Re: Bug in MMF2 Image Editor ?
Thanks for the file! I don't see why that happened. The problem is not in the picture editor, the frame palette has not been correctly initialized probably when the frame was created. If this happens again, let me know. To fix it you can click the Palette button in the frame properties and Import the palette from the defpal.bmp file in the Data directory (this is the default MMF2 palette).
