Does anyone know if there is a way to make an Overlay redux have add/subtract ink effects? I'm trying to make lighting, and the AND effect just doesn't look quite right...

for now it seems that the overlay and active overlay were pretty much directly ported and therefore lack the new ink effects <img src="/center/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
I hope there's an update someday as I wanted to use the two of them for a lot of effects that require the new ink effects as well.

Yeah... is it Andos who makes the extension? If it is, I should send him a PM or something... I suggested the update in one of his extension threads but I got no reply. :\

It was Cragmyre who originally made the Overlay object. Then Matt did more work on it to produce Overlay Redux.

Yes Sarah is correct. I only made Active Overlay because I felt people had many uses for an active object in which they could use all the overlay object's features in.
Active Overlay just uses all the Overlay object's settings so if Overlay Redux can't do ADD or SUBSTRACT ink effects, Active Overlay can't (unless I change it so you control it manually)
