Dude... it's easy as pie. Add layers on the layer toolbar. Set the X/Y scrolling coefficients on the "rear" layers to something less than 1, like 0.6. That's it... and it is new to MMF2.

Excellent.
Thanks.
Excellent.
Thanks.
You can find examples around the forum, but I'll explain how to do it:
Create some layers, higher in the list, show up above others, even if that means backdrops show over active objects and vice versa.
Notice that each layers settings have 2 co-efficents, and X & Y.
If you want the layer to fallow the frame, use 1.
As your scrolling, if you want the frame to scroll slower then the frame, use any number between 0.9 and 0.1.
Co-Efficent 0 will make the layer fallow the screen (It wont scroll at all.)
Using Co-Efficent -0.1 to -1.0 will make the screen scroll in the opposite direction.
Now here is how I would use these:
1 = Actual level.
0.9-0.1 = Parallaxing backgrounds
0 = GUI (Highest Layer) or the last background layer.
-0.1-(-1) = Forground that moves fast, past the screen.
Hope this helps, or wasn't to confusing.

Thats useful thanks.
Is there no way of naming the layer? Whilst trying this out I notice just how hard it is to keep track of what layer is which!
But at last theres a feature that makes buying MMF2 worth my money!

Thanks Brandon, that clarified things greatly!
as for naming them...
Sure , just head over to the left side, and you can name them...! (under 'Settings")
Everything that I say "Boy, I wish..." has magically appeared in MMF2!
I'm quite buzzed (excited) right now... I've been clicking almost 6 hours a day this whole week! <img src="/center/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
