Convention 2007

Sounds like I'll be able to come along. What exactly happens at these conventions then?

There are talks by Clickteam about "Whats New - new features etc", and then also we have talks by the end users about latest games, programs they have created etc.

In between there are usually freebies given out, and a couple of competitions throughout the day (resulting in some neat prizes).

There are also computers in the convention room, where other users who dont want to do a talk, but want to show off their creations can. You can see some information at the convention website at www.clickconvention.com.

My favorite part of the convention is -- The time at the pub the night before the convention, the night of the convention and hanging out with forum people on sunday before everyone splits off <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I had a great time last year running around London with Andos, Burfelt and Random on Sunday.

The least favorite part -- Always seeming my talk is a disorganized mess -- but your getting the true Jeff <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yes it is weird and odd meeting everyone in person but everyone is super cool and friendly.

The date of the next convention is Saturday, 1st September 2007.
Location - Watermill Hotel, Hemel Hempstead, UK.

Apologies in advance to parents of young children! This date should suit the college and university students better though.
