Gamepads and MMF2
Does Multimedia Fusion support gamepads that have two thumbsticks and more than 4 buttons? I have been looking around for info, but it looks like all it supports is one analog stick and 4 buttons.
Is this correct? If not, could someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Re: Gamepads and MMF2
Hi.
Use the "Analog Joystick" object. I can't remmber how many buttons it supports upto but it is way more than 4. I think it comes with MMF2, but i am not really sure. I havn't had to use it in MMF2 yet, so i don't know where it came from.
But one thing you need to know about the object, is it can crash and fail completely, it won't have any actions conditions. This is happening to me at this current time <img src="/center/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
There is also another object called the "Joypad" object. This was in MMF1, but i am not sure if it is going to, or has already been ported to MMF2.
Hope that helped.

Re: Gamepads and MMF2
I will take a look again but I am pretty sure I am using the analog gamepad object already. It appears to only allow 4 buttons and one stick though.
I am currently using an XBOX360 controller for windows and it currently works. Its just the second stick and extra buttons that seem to be missing in MMF2.
Thanks for the response.

Re: Gamepads and MMF2
I am definitely using the Analog Joystick object and when I try to assign directions or buttons, it display directions for only one stick and a maximum of 4 buttons. Do I need to use some other object instead? I have not found any tutorials or info on using gamepads with MMF2 so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Gamepads and MMF2
joypad and control interpreter for mmf 1.5 seemed to have alot more functionality, supporting multiple input devices and so forth. But im not sure if they meet your requirements.
