Set Position oddity in build 242

We all know about the "Set Position lag" issue - when default movements are used, you can't set an object's position perfectly to that of another object because the movements are processed after the events have been run through, and it results in a visible lag. Previously, this could be fixed by using a custom movement (entirely driven in the Event list) and setting all positions after the movements had been dealt with.

The last I heard about this problem, there was going to be a fix in 242 to get around it - but since installing I've found the problem worse, with even the method that worked before resulting in some lag.

Now, when I put together an example to show this, I was disappointed to find that my example worked perfectly. But even more strangely, deleting the String object and then running the game brings the problem back.
