It seems that the neat little red numbers that would tell you which posts you have not seen are no longer there. Is this something that is no longer available, yet to be implemented, or some preference that I need to select?

I was wondering the same,I miss that.
It will be back in a future version
Its not in 7.0 as the developer wanted to rework it as its very CPU intensive.
