Use Megaupload: http://www.megaupload.com/ Can have up to 500MB. If it's locked, can you copy your mfx and paste it somewhere else and try opening that.
Well, I think I've found the problem. I got an old, old ollld version of the game to work by renaming some of the external files to what they used to be called a long time ago. The files still take forever to load, but they do load.
I'm using a lot of DirectShow and that sort of extension that reads from external files, and somehow I guess I misnamed a file somewhere, and now MMF2 tries so hard to find the external files that it just locks up.
I'm still working on fixing the problem, but let me be an example for everyone else... Be VERY careful when re-naming external files!
