Hi, I decided to see how possible it would be to create a fill in the blank engine with MMF 2. The coding could probally be improved in a few places but it works ;).
The required extensions are:
EasyXML, Speech Bubble, Random Pool.

As I still have mmf 1.5 , I think this will be the turning point for me : time to move to mmf 2.0 I guess ;) But as the other reply suggest your example works, I think it's going to be worth it because I've been waiting for this forever actually !!
