Re: car reflection effect
Wow! [grin] I didn't know you could do that kind of stuff with MMF2. [cool] Awesome!
Re: car reflection effect
Really neat effect, but this is the first MMF2 example to slow down on my computer.
Runs at 35-40frames a second when scrolling, 50 when still.
Computer: 3.2ghz processor, 1gb RAM
Re: car reflection effect
40 when moving, 50 when still. No noticable slowdown, however. 2.8GHz processor and 768mb of RAM.
Re: car reflection effect
Nice! How did you come up with that idea?
Though you can see the car in its own reflexion.
Re: car reflection effect
i just wanted to see if it was possible to get nice car reflections realtime in mmf,, dunno really what i hoped for..
anyway,, perhaps the car being reflected could be fixxed somehow?.. mayby playing with layers? or perhaps not using autoupdate, and make the car and such invisible and perhaps force update, but i suspect this wouldnt work since the frame isnt updated between.. One thing could prolly be to play abround with the lens image until you manage to exlude the car.
Re: car reflection effect
That looks really nice, I never even thought of anything like that. Doesn't seem to slow my computer down any either. I might try messing around adding some more objects, see if it struggles at all.
Re: car reflection effect
Doesn't slow down my computer. Lovely effect :)
