Since MMF2 (And MMF1.X) is MDI, I see no point having more than 1 MMF2 window opened. In fact, it's pretty annoying.
I believe you all download examples or double click an MFA file but it opens in a new MMF2 window.
Sometimes I even get to 4 MMF2 windows opened at once, which is a real pain.
My suggestion is making the MFA files open in an exist MMF2 window, if there is one opened, instead of opening a new MMF2 window every time.
Can this be implemented? :)

I actually like the fact that more than one instances of MMF can be open at once. (I use ALT-TAB to switch through apps all the time!) You can have multiple applications open in one instance of MMF, but that's not by default when you double-click an MFA file.
If there could be an option in the preferences that either allows or disallows multiple instances of MMF, that would be the best method, instead of forcing one way or the other.
At the moment the way the program works for that (you probably know this already but mentioning this in case you didnt)... if you double click on an mfa file it will open up a seperate mmf. If you do File | open you can have multiple files within the same MMF.
Me personally, i like having separate mmf's open, as i can flick back and forth between them. But im sure there are probably others that like it the other way also.

I find having 2 mmfs open at the same time quiet helpfull, specially if I am trying to do something I did in a previous application, or if I mess up something on my current engine, I can open an older version that was working and just ALT+TAB them to compare and fix my errors...Although maybe it should have an option on preferences that people can toggle that on and off.
My machine's too limited, if I have two MMFs open as well as my graphics app, it slows right down.
still cant believe they removed having more than 1 editor open (different editor for events than frame). it was an awesome feature
If disagree with some of you .... load all mfa files in one mmf2 application is better, saves memory (like Dingdong said) and so on....
But i can also agree that sometimes it would be better with switching with Alt+tal ...
They may should have a kind of a option for this?
