Scrolling problem
Hi!
I have a problem. I am making a platform game and it's working veeery slow as I scroll the screen :( I tried a game on another computer and it worked great. The silliest thing is that my computer has 512MB RAM and that 2nd computer had 256MB RAM
Thanks :)

Re: Scrolling problem
Graphics cards and CPU can also make a diff.

Re: Scrolling problem
My graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX/MX 400 and CPU is Intel Pentium 4 1.60GHz.

Re: Scrolling problem
I had a NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX 440 on my last computer... I had the same problem...

Re: Scrolling problem
Oooh... So I need to change my graphic card :/
BTW
I would like to add System Requirements of my game. How to check them?

Re: Scrolling problem
Just about how you are
Run it on various configurations and see what works at an acceptable level.

Re: Scrolling problem
You could try lowering the games res (640x480 seems to work well on my Radeon Xpress 1150 integrated graphics).

Re: Scrolling problem
Inside MMF 2
Also toggle your direct X settings, the other computer might have a different direct x. Try turning Direct X + vram off, or turing Direct X off altogether.

Re: Scrolling problem
Then game works else slower xD Both computers have DirectX 9c.

Re: Scrolling problem
Graphic cards are not used by MMF2... So the difference should be in your CPU.
