Midi Music

Hi All,
Is there a bug or issue with MMF2 Standard with playing
midi music? I know that MMF2 has too foms of music files
it can play. 1. is Mid files(Midi) and the other is
RMI which I am no sure what type of music file this one
may be?
I have midi file on my computer and they play fine
though windows Media Player, but not in MMF2.

Well, I guess we can rule out the most common cause which is the MIDI channel being set to mute or volume set all the way down.

Older builds had a known problem on Windows XP Service Pack 2 due to Data Execution Prevention. If you are using anything below build 244 then I'd definitely download the update from the sidebar on the right as it fixes many bugs and adds new features.

You may also want to try pressing Ctrl+M in-game enable/disable music.

It is also possible that the file is neither a MIDI file or a RMI file. Try using a MIDI from the MMF2 CD-ROM.
