[Beta5] Fusion Manager

And now the new Beta version of FusionManager.

There is a lot of new features and bugs corrected. :)
I want to thanks a lot all guys who have traduce FM and have reported bugs and wanted features.

What's new :
- Bug with refreshing after the deletion of a category
- Bug with refreshing after the fusion/rename of a category
- Bug with special category "none"
- Bug with website option
- Bug corrected with keyboard extension selection
- Bug corrected with special category "none"
- FusionManager is now in the taskBar
- Confirmation message box with refresh button
- Lot of translation mistakes have been corrected
- New languages files available (some words and phrases must be translated)
- New feature in language files to apply Right to Left style to FusionManager window
- New feature for packaging a category with informations
- Allow FusionManager to unpack FMP files (FusionManager Package) with informations before installation
- Associate FMP files to FusionManager
- FusionManager let you drop FMP files to install package
- Display a progress bar when packing/unpacking FMP files
- FusionManager let you drop MFX files to install them directly in the good directory and category
- Better refresh routines
- Optimization with loading extensions
- Some new other new features I missing... :D


FMP files are now the official files of FusionManager. They are compressed archives which contain informations and one or more extensions.
FMP files are packages which can be opened with FusionManager to install automatically one or more extensions (edit-time and runtime versions) in the good directories and good categories.


As usual, if you have bugs to report, wanted features, language files translated or a simple comment, do not hesitate to post. :)

EDIT1: Please, correct/complete the languages files you can edit. :)
EDIT2: i've forgot to put the FMP icon which is associated to FMP package files. :D

Ok, couple of things:

When I am on the All Objects option, why does it say on the title bar 146/147 extensions installed? Where is the other extension?

Next, when a package of extensions has been made, it says the message in another language (didn't check which) not in the selected language.

Next, could the extensions be sorted alphabetically? As some of mine are scattered around such as the array object which is half way through the list.

Finally, when I tried to refresh the list and said that I didn't want to update something, it crashed!

It's because language files have a lot new words/phrases than beta4. So it must be translated. :)

Actually, it's impossible (but I want it too) because the IconView object can't do that... :(

I only have MMF2 Developer installed but told me on the first run that I had both installed. How come? :)

I can't do anything about that. The website URL is get from the MFX. :D

FusionManager have detected an installation of both... I'll add a test to know if the directory exist. :)

That's pretty strange, French is only in the French language file... What are the words in french you have seen ?

It seems to be a crash from the runtime of MMF2... No MFX seems to be involved in this crash. It don't crash for me. I'll look at it...

To fix the Gebrish bug Change the font to Courier (Not Courier new!), and then change it by an event to Arial or any other font you want.
This will change the encoding to system's default language for non-unicode text.

LIJI, thanks for this. Could you post you language file ? I must test it. :)
I'll correct it.

Here you go, but it will look Gebrish for you because your computer doesn't use Hebrew for non-unicode programs, and MMF isn't unicode.

What is ok :
- I've found the bug with default language and corrected it. (by default, it will speak in English and not in the last language found)
- I've applied the RTL option to message box.
- I've correct the false positive detection of MMF2 std and MMF2 dev
- I've added the detection when MMF2 is not installed at all...
- Refresh button save the window position and options
- I've added the weight of the runtime extension
- I've forgot to change the text "Please wait" in the selected language
- I've recompiled all my extensions : FusionManager is lighter (some KB less) :D

What's not ok
- I don't find why the application crash when refresh button is pressed (it don't crash for me)
- I don't know why RTL option don't work for some people (it works for me)


- When exactly does FusionManager crash ?
- Does it crash only when "No" is answered to the question "Do you want to apply modifications ?" ?
- Does it crash when "Yes" is answered too ?
- Does it crash when you close application ?
- Is the RTL option works for you ?

What do you change this beta 5.2 version? The previous 5.1 version crash in my computer, but this version is OK. No crash.

But when you copy the hungarian language file from this forum, the special hungarian characters like "ő", "ű", "Ő", "Ű" will be lost, it's replaced O and U.

Maybe it's because I've recompiled all my extensions in release and runtime versions. The crash was maybe caused by a wrong runtime version... :)

Ok, to reproduce, create a package of all of the objects, then click refresh when your back to the main screen, it will crash half way through (does for me anyway). Running b5.2

English, 146. I still get it everytime. Did you click No when it asks about saving changes? (note, refresh works fine when not making a new package).

Edit: Maybe it would be a good idea to set the background of the IconView object (assuming thats what you use) to white at the start as my theme on my pc uses a different colour and icons look out of place!

It don't crash when you click yes ? (it don't crash for me at all)

I've corrected the icons display (the background is transparent now, like MMF2)
I've corrected too, the bug with false number of extensions.

ActiveX is not listed because it cause an error message when trying to load it. I've blacklisted it for the moment.
Moo extensions are not blacklisted but can't be loaded (I don't know why)

Edited my last post again... The ActiveX, Bitwise Helper Object and Application Priority objects arn't shown in the extensions (maybe some others but I havent looked fully, and the bug saying 146/147 extensions is still there.

In the next version which is not actually released. ;)

Bitwise helper and AppPriority are displayed for me...

I've corrected some little bugs, added few features and I've optimized the application (smaller than before).

I think the crash is due to a memory leak that I can't control... I'll see how to avoid it.

Please, upload or send me, language files completed/corrected (Spanish,Nederlands,Suomi,...) :)

I also have that bug..

It still asks me which version of MMF2 I want to use but I still only have MMF2 Dev and the old demos long gone.

I still get foreign language in the 'add remove' dialog:
"Aumentar a / Suprimir de la categoria, el <extension name>"

My system language is Danish/Dansk (Denmark/Danmark)

Do you have downloaded the latest version ? Beta5.3 ? I've corrected all these two bugs...
