I am pretty sure it can, unless this feature is only in MMF2.

In the layer properties you can change the X and Y coefficients of each layer. X corresponds to horizontal scrolling and Y corresponds to vertical scrolling. The higher you make this value the faster the layer will scroll and vise versa

Add your background to a layer behind the foreground. Then change the coefficients of the background layer to a lower number (such as 0.6). This will then make the background scroll slower than the foreground.
See pages 9 and 10 of the scrolling tutorial by Popcorn on the tutorial page for more info
Ohh. Thank you. This just gives me another insintive to buy the program. Currently I'm stuck with TGF1 untill I can buy this. (some time next paycheck.)
There is also the scrollng tutorial in the tutorial section. Also consider whether or not you want to upgrade to MMF2 instead of TGF2 (as TGF2 is not a sequel to TGF with the TGF interface, it is similar to MMF2 but does not support third-party extensions).
Speaking of TGF2 and MMF2, I've been looking around and couldn't find what I thought might've been possible but haven't seen it offered around the site. Is there any way to get an upgrade from TGF2 to MMF2? Or would I have to buy MMF2 completely?
you can use the upgrade page at www.clickteam.com/eng/upgrade.php and you will get a discount
