No, if I add a property, it's the entire object which will not be compatible. I'll add an expression.
Adding propertied (but not removing or reordering) doesn't effect older versions. ;)

I would recommend to never use 3rd party ActiveXes. Most people won't have them and will prefer to not install them.
I believe that one of the system objects can do it, check the extensions list.
Or you can include it in your distribution package, and install it silently...
as long as you trust the control itself, of course.
EDIT: the big box does it anyway however.
Nonetheless, this is the only way i know to retrieve a list of avaliable drives on a system without MMFDev... am i wrong?
