Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
One bug which I noticed when we want to resize graphics of object (option choosen by pressing "W") using tab (which after using "W" isn't placed in height but it should in mu opinion) we change from height, width, option proportional, resample, stretch, apply and it should be from "W" to height next width, apply, proportional, stretch and resample.
I hope that it is easy to understand :P
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
Hi,
I think that I may have found a bug in build 247.
I was working on a Christmas music game this week. I created my first level, tested it, and cloned it into 2 other levels. Everything was working well. I had a cutscene frame between levels 1 and 2. I clones it and moved the clone (renamed of course) between frame 2 and 3. Here is the wierd thing:
I went back to run level 1 and found that I had 2 instances of my player objet at runtime. The editor showed 1 instance, no actions were in place to create a player at any point in the level, but yet, 2 instances appeard at runtime. the second instance was created at what looks like 0,0 in the frame. It behaves exactly like the real player object, doubling it.
I worked around this problem by unchecking the "create at start" option on the object and having it created at runtime through a "go" button click. I backtracked what i did, but I didn't even touch my level frames when I added the last cutscene frame (which contains nothing but a direct play object to play an mpeg.
Is this a bug or am I not seeing something?
By the way, keep up the great work. I admire your incredible work in always expanding and improving MMF2dev.

Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
Tom, do you have a copy of your game before you made the changes you are talking about? If so, could you send it to me? Thanks!
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
Fanotherpg, do you mean the tab order is not correct in the options of the Resize tool? That's correct, we'll fix it, thanks!
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
In regards to Tom's situation, I've had similar things happen. In my current project, I sometimes spot random objects that appear at the 0,0 coordinate that can't be removed. They dont cause any issues at runtime, but it is very strange.
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
Yea Yves I was saying about that :)
I just didn't know how to write that. Because I need sometimes fast modifications so it was a bug for me that I have to press tab some more times to apply change :)
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
I've just done a fresh install of MMF2 Dev on a rebuilt hard disk and create a new active.
rotate it for 10 frames looking in the editor I then select all the frames and click the flip horizontaly icon. it only flips the 1st frame and none of the others.
Can anyone replicate this?
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
The Flip icons only flip the current image. To flip a selection of frames in the frame list, use the popup menu in this control.
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
Yes I do this already but shouldn't the Icon [Button] do the same? I would have thought so as the same command on the popup menu does this.
Re: MMF2 Build #247 (BETA)
Hi Yves,
I would love to send you a copy of my file with the bug, if only I knew HOW to attach a file to my message! (I know, what a retard!) I can't find an 'Attachment' button anywhere!
