Can't really say what day that will be as it has not been tested yet :)
I'm assuming just like with Java, some nice beta's will be available for the loving part of your community whom not only loves to test out new features and submit amazing bug reviews, but also love beautiful new features... am I right? ;)

Yea... I was hoping to see HWA before Java. I'm really excited about HWA, but Java just doesn't thrill me all that much. Especially since the guy at the presentation (was it Yves or Francois?) said that it was 3 to 4 times slower than a .exe was.
50% slower? =/(doesn't mean Java is slow... just means the translation makes it slower than if you were to code a Java program from scratch and that's understandable) still, its major perk really is being able to take click games to other platforms such Mac, Linux, mobile, Blu-ray etc. =D
