Re: HWA Ink Effect Question
This is a complete shot in the dark, but maybe you could try the fade out effects, if it still works.
Re: HWA Ink Effect Question
That has always been a problem for me: Using both semi-transparency and an ink effect at the same time.
This should be implended.
Re: HWA Ink Effect Question
I agree completely, but until then, the Fade Out thing might work.
Re: HWA Ink Effect Question
Although, I'm pretty sure Yves said that transitions doesn't work with HWA?
Re: HWA Ink Effect Question
Fading stops any events working for objects so it couldn't scale up while fading.

Obviously, since during transition, the object stops "existing".
Re: HWA Ink Effect Question
The transitions will probably be remade in a pixel shader (my best guess)
Re: HWA Ink Effect Question
Currently, it's impossible to mix ink effects but it will maybe possible to have an ink effect and a semi-transparency.
To prevent this limitation, it is possible to merge the different ink effects you want in only one. ;)

Or make a multi-ink effect thing (like the winamp extensions that allow many dsps) using the ink effect SDK
