HWA: active test - Example files for Yves
Hello,
here are 2 files, one with actives and one with active pictures.
I have created new applications and now the framerate in the active-file drops no more at 500+ objects but at 3500+.
Here are the other results:
Default framerate: [color:#009900]90 FPS.
Active object-file
Objects just moving: 3600 objects until slow down [color:#FFAA00](90 to 85).
4500 objects: [color:#FFAA00]65 fps.
Application freezes for 15 seconds while creating objects above 4500+
This happened because the max. number of objects was set to 5000.
but framerate constantly at [color:#FFAA00]65 fps.
500 rotating objects: framerate at [color:#FFAA00]50 fps.
1000 rotating objects: framerate at [color:#FF0000]18/25 fps (Quality/Speed).
2000 rotating objects: framerate at [color:#FF0000]9/16 fps (Quality/Speed).
900 moving objects, while scaling: framerate at [color:#FF0000]25/35 fps (Quality/Speed), then at [color:#009900]90 again.
900 rotating objects, while scaling: [color:#FF0000]10/30 fps (Quality/Speed), then at [color:#FF0000]20-40 again.
Active picture object-file
Objects just moving: 2000 objects until slow down [color:#FFAA00](90 to 80).
4500 objects: [color:#FF0000]35 fps.
500 rotating objects: framerate at [color:#009900]90 fps.
1000 rotating objects: framerate at [color:#009900]90 fps.
2000 rotating objects: framerate at [color:#FFAA00]70 fps.
900 moving objects, while scaling: framerate at [color:#009900]90 fps.
900 rotating objects, while scaling: [color:#009900]90 fps.
Shortcuts:
Q/A: Speed +/-
W/S: Scale +/-
ESC: exit
edit: forgot the picture for active picture object.
edit2: max. number of objects now 15000.
Re: HWA: active test - Example files for Yves
Do I need the HWA version of MMF2 to see this? I just tried it with build 247 and it went extremely slow.
Re: HWA: active test - Example files for Yves
yes, why it has HWA in the title
Re: HWA: active test - Example files for Yves
there are some lag with the condition bounce + the rotation condition... I have the same pb with one of my project :S
Re: HWA: active test - Example files for Yves
somehow the AP version ran a little better than the AO version for me...
too bad rotation kills the framerate for both (hopefully this is just an optimization issue)
